"Morgan Sunflower " Original Watercolor and Mixed Media Painting by Sandy Tyler

What started as a seed grew into a mighty sunflower at least five feet tall. This bold, expressive painting would make any space glow with its bright colors. Sunflowers often represent happiness so may this one make you smile wherever your journey leads.

This 6" square painting is framed in a handmade pine frame and sealed with Tung Oil. The painting itself was created on FSC certified Aquabord with handmade soil watercolor and Woody pencil. It is sealed with a honey and casein fixatif, eliminating the need for glass. There were no harsh chemicals or plastics used in the creation or finishing of this artwork.

Artwork was created by me, Sandy Tyler, in Ohio using the most sustainable materials I could find. Most materials are made by artisans in the USA.
